Everyone else gets it in December.

Destiny 2 Coldheart

Remember that nifty new Exotic Trace Rifle Coldheart that Bungie showcased for Destiny 2 via IGN’s recent video? The same weapon that’s the first and only one in its class?

As it turns out, Coldheart will be available at launch if you pre-order the physical or digital versions of the game. And no, purchasing the game after launch will not let you get it. Well, at least until December. If you don’t pre-order the game, then Coldheart will be unlocked on December 5th for all players. Bungie has offered various pre-order bonuses before with Destiny.

However, this is the first time that an Exotic, that too an entire weapon class, can only be obtained at launch with pre-order. You can check out the trailer for Coldheart below to the tune of “Ice Ice Baby”. Destiny 2 releases on September 6th for Xbox One and PS4. The PC version is out on October 24th with the beta scheduled for late August.
