Bungie’s Destiny has finally entered the beta stage with PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 players getting their first shot at the online shooter. Of course, given the hype surrounding the game, it only makes sense that the PlayStation Network is experiencing stress.

Sony’s support revealed that the sheer volume of users meant that you would “experience issues when connecting to the service.” Any problems will be corrected shortly so stay tuned to further updates from both Bungie and Sony regarding the same.

This is usually par the course for any online title, especially one that has so many users accessing it at once, so these kinds of issues will be ironed out before launch. What will be interesting is to see how traffic is handled on Xbox Live when the beta goes live on July 23rd for Xbox One and Xbox 360 players.

Destiny will be out on September 9th on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PS4. Are you looking forward to it? Let us know below.
