Destiny: Top 15 Things the Next Expansion Shouldn’t Have

There are plenty of things Bungie shouldn't have in future DLCs. Here are a few.

Limited Activities

As stated above, the overall range of activities in Destiny is somewhat limited at this point. PvP players will always have Trials of Osiris and Iron Banner to tide them over for a while (though the lag of the latter will certainly turn people off). Then there’s Mayhem Clash and Rift on mostly new maps. But what about mixing in a greater variety of Year One maps? Why relegate them to the older playlists that very few will be interested in?

The curse of limited activities could also harm Destiny’s future if Bungie is simply content to recycle the same concepts over and over again. Even with much of the Year One content being left behind, The Taken King worked because there were plenty of new and unique things to do, from treasure hunting and puzzle solving to strikes, raids and Court of Oryx. Heck, even the Patrol missions were spruced up with new mission types. If House of Wolves and The Dark Below taught us anything, it’s that having a limited number of things to do does not a good expansion make.
