Bungie’s Destiny will be kicking off its beta soon for the PS3 and PS4, with the Xbox One and Xbox 360 starting on July 23rd. We already know that it will be 1080p on the PS4 but it will apparently run at the same resolution on the Xbox One. However, you shouldn’t expect the latter to run at 1080p when the beta rolls around for Xbox users.

This is according to the Destiny Blog’s report on an IGN Live show which featured Bungie community manager David Dague. Dague commented that the Xbox One version will run at 1080p once the game launches. If you’ll remember correctly, Bungie said that the recent Xbox One SDK update allowed for increased processing power following the removal of Kinect. Though the team couldn’t confirm the same previously, it now appears that this will be happening after all.

Destiny is out on September 9th worldwide for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PS4.
