Destiny 2 Xur

Xur has returned to Nessus in Bungie’s Destiny 2, bringing some rather familiar Exotics and at least one new weapon. That is, if you didn’t happen to grind through The Revelry when it was available. Xur will be available until the next weekly reset, which is tomorrow, so hurry on over to Nessus.

The Exotic weapon this week is the Arbalest, a linear fusion rifle that actually goes in the Primary weapon slot. It fires slugs after a brief charge time and can cause massive damage to shields. Pick it up for 29 Legendary Shards. It’s better than waiting for it to drop randomly.

The Exotic gear this week includes Shinobu’s Vow (Hunter gloves), Crown of Tempests (Warlock helm) and Ashen Wake (Titan gloves), each for 23 Legendary Shards. Crown of Tempests is recommended for Stormcallers since it increases the duration of Stormtrance and increases recharge rate on Arc abilities when killing with Arc abilities. Shinobu’s Vow is also nice for Hunters who love their Skip Grenades.
