Exotic vendor Xur has returned to the Tower in Bungie’s Destiny, even as players ready for the upcoming open beta for Destiny 2. You can find him in the Tower’s Lounge where he will remain until July 9th, 2 AM PST.
Xur’s inventory this week include the Eternal Warrior (Titan helm), Young Ahamkara’s Spine (Hunter gloves) and Ophidian Aspect (Warlock gloves), each for 13 Strange Coins. Each piece has its own merits though nothing screams “must-buy”. At this point you’re either completing your collection or just killing time in Destiny.
The Exotic weapon for this week is Hawkmoon which costs 23 Strange Coins. It’s a hand cannon that fires two lucky bullets with additional damage and possesses decent range. Unfortunately, it’s outclassed by guns like Eyasluna and Palindrome (but not in looks). The Legacy Engram for this week is for Year 1 helms and can be purchased for 29 Strange Coins.
Meanwhile, Destiny 2’s open beta will start on July 21st for Xbox One and PS4 with pre-orders getting in early.
