Destiny

Destiny’s Exotic vendor Xur is back in the Reef with the usual range of high-end weapons and gear. You can find him at the Vestian Outpost where he’ll remain until August 21st, 2 AM PST.

This week, Xur is carrying Helm of Saint-14 (Titan helm), Bones of Eao (Hunter legs) and Voidfang Vestments (Warlock chest). Each Exotic retails for 13 Strange Coins and has its own recommended function. Helm of Saint-14 adds a blinding side-effect to Defender bubbles which is useful in PvE. Bones of Eao bestows an extra jump, allowing for quad-jumps on Gunslingers and triple jumps on Bladedancers. Voidfang Vesments refills grenade energy on respawn and adds an extra Axiom Bolt grenade for Voidwalkers.

Meanwhile, the Exotic weapon for this week is the Invective, a shotgun which recharges its own ammo over time. It’s definitely recommneded for PvP, especially for Defenders with No Backup Plans. It’ll cost you 17 Strange Coins though. The Legacy Engram for this week contains Year One helms and costs 29 Strange Coins.
