Destiny’s Iron Banner Receives Fix for Lack of Rewards, Reputation

Players should start receiving drops and Medallions as per normal.

Destiny Iron Banner

If you’ve been playing Destiny’s Iron Banner, which is currently live this week, you’ll probably have noticed the distinct lack of rewards. Players usually receive something when completing an Iron Banner match, even if it’s a Medallion for losing, but many reported not seeing any gun/gear drops, Reputation gains, Medallions and whatnot.

Bungie was aware of the issue and deployed a patch for the same. It instructed players to head to the forums and offer feedback on whether things had improved.

Destiny players usually look forward to Iron Banner even with the horrible lag and terrible matchmaking, primarily due to the loot drops. Gear that’s higher than your current Light level can drop and it’s useful for progressing your character with just a few matches. The aforementioned Medallions are deployed to losing players to redeem for increased Reputation on their next victory.

What are your thoughts on the Iron Banner fix? Let us know in the comments.
