Could this be the newest addition to the series?

After Deus Ex: Human Defiance was revealed to be the upcoming film, and an Australian Censorship Board rating gave further credence to the rumour about Human Revolution coming to the Wii U, Square Enix has gone ahead and registered a few domains with the Deus Ex tagline.

The title this time? Deus Ex: The Fall.

The domains in question are DeusExTheFall.com , DeusExTheFall.net and DeusExTheFall.co.uk. The obvious question then is whether Eidos Montreal is developing the new game after working on Human Revolution, or if a new team will be given the task since the former is currently working on Thief 4.

As of now, there’s no official confirmation from Square Enix. Considering that Deus Ex: Human Revolution was critically acclaimed but commercially average, the incentive to do a sequel would be a bit odd. If Deus Ex: The Fall is indeed real, we’ll see what Square Enix has in store for us this time – and if it will arrive in time for the next generation.
