Devil May Cry 5 Final Trailer is All Kinds of Apocalyptic

The "last" trailer for the highly anticipated sequel features some pretty hefty spoilers.

Devil May Cry 5 V

The sky is falling, demons are taking over, and the world as we know it is going to Hell. In the case of Devil May Cry 5, that’s probably a literal description of the final trailer. Our heroes Nero, Dante, and V are doing their best to hold it together, but can they succeed? There are some minor spoilers to be had in the newest trailer, so keep that in mind.

Of course, if you don’t want to watch it, we won’t spoil anything here. Devil May Cry 5 is the first sequel in the mainline series since Devil May Cry 4 in 2008 (the 2013 reboot DmC: Devil May Cry was created by Ninja Theory with help from Capcom). Nero and Dante team up once again to stop a demonic invasion in Red Grave City, while a mysterious character, V shows up to help them. Or so we currently think.

Devil May Cry 5 retains all the stylishness and combos that made previous games successful, only jacked up to 11. The demo is currently available for Xbox One and PS4 for those who want to try it out. Otherwise, the full game is out for those platforms and PC on March 8th – check out the first review for the game, courtesy of Famitsu.
