Diablo 4 Season of the Construct

Season of the Construct is now live in Diablo 4, along with its first hotfix addressing a particularly annoying progression blocker. However, several players aren’t happy with the season in general, whether it’s the lack of much new content, the Vaults and their traps, the underwhelming Seneschal Construct, etc.

Adam Fletcher, global community development director for Diablo, said the team is “tracking the feedback from players since the start of S3.” It will be “discussing feedback internally” and “will have updates later on this once we go through them some more. Appreciate everyone providing their notes and thoughts with us.”

He also acknowledged some complaints, like Vaults not being rewarding, Arcane Tremors feeling underwhelming, and how Season 3 is a step back from its predecessor. “We are noting a lot of this and bringing this to the team today.” When one user said they don’t want puzzles or traps but good combat, Skills and boss fights, Fletcher replied, “We are compiling everyone’s thoughts, and I know this resonates with a lot we’ve been seeing. Will make sure the team is aware.”

We’ll need to wait for further updates from the developer. In the meantime, Season of the Construct will also see the addition of The Gauntlet, a weekly challenge dungeon with leaderboards. It doesn’t have a release date yet, so stay tuned when it goes live.
