Diablo 4 Hotfix Fixes Enhanced Lightning Storm Passive, More Seasonal Quest Issues

The open-world version of Sons of Malphas has also been nerfed after unexpectedly causing the deaths of some hardcore players.

diablo 4 season of the construct

Shortly after releasing a hotfix for Diablo 4’s Season of the Construct, Blizzard Entertainment released another. It addresses further issues with the “Drums of the Vault” seasonal quest, which blocked progression for players while also fixing the Enhanced Lightning Storm passive. The latter was not preserving stacks correctly and should work properly now.

Alongside the usual stability and performance updates, the open-world version of Son of Malphas now deals reduced damage. Players reported dying to the monster’s roar, even with full health and Fortify. Suffice it to say that it’s caused some heartache for hardcore players, but it should be fine now.

As for further fixes and improvements to the season, Blizzard Entertainment has confirmed collecting feedback from players. Many have complained about its mechanics, from the focus on traps to the underwhelming power of the new Seneschal Construct. Stay tuned for a response and potential changes in the coming weeks, especially since the season has just started.
