Diablo 4

The Necromancer is the fifth and final class to be available when Diablo 4 launches next year, bringing various occult skills to the forefront. Blizzard Entertainment recently outlined many of these in a blog post but if you want to see them in action, Game Informer has released some extensive gameplay. Check it out below.

Bone, Darkness, Blood and the Army are the main categories for the Necromancer’s abilities. Players can mix and match these at will, using the Bone Prison to immobilize enemies, Blood Mist for temporary invulnerability, and Decompose to create corpses for explosions. Raising summons like Skeletons and Golems are also bound to dedicated buttons for quick deployment. Using Book of the Dead, summons can be further customized. You can have tankier Skeletal Defenders, an Iron Golem that charges foes, and much more.

In addition to regular PvE, we also see some PvP, which looks chaotic but still manageable. There’s also a World Boss, wielding a giant hammer and chained box, which many players battle together. World Bosses are encountered in the open world and provide tougher challenges, thus giving random players a reason to band together.

Diablo 4 will be coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC. For more details on its features, head here.
