Diablo 4

Following its video on Diablo 4’s classes and build diversity, Blizzard Entertainment has announced the final requirements for the PC version. Though the action RPG can still run on hardware lower than the recommended settings, the developer warns of a “slightly diminished” experience.

In all cases, you’ll need Windows 10 1909 or newer, DirectX 12, a broadband connection (since the game is always online) and a solid-state drive with 90 GB of free space. Minimum requirements include an  Intel Core i5-2500K or AMD FX-8350, 8 GB RAM, and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 or AMD Radeon R9 280. This will deliver a native resolution of 1080p and a render resolution of 720p at Low settings and 30 FPS.

To run the game in 1080p with Medium settings and 60 FPS, you’ll need a Core i5-4670K or Ryzen 1300X, 16 GB RAM and a GeForce GTX 970 or Radeon RX 470. For higher-spec systems, a Core i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen 2700X,16 GB RAM and an RTX 2060 or Radeon RX 5700 XT is necessary for 1080p/60 FPS at High settings.

Finally, for those looking to run at 4K/60 FPS and Ultra settings, a Core i7-8700K or Ryzen 7 2700X, 32 GB of RAM and an RTX 3080, RTX 40 Series GPU that supports DLSS 3 or a Radeon RX 6800 XT is needed. Of course, one could also play the game on Xbox Series X, where it’s confirmed to run at 4K/60 FPS.

Diablo 4 is out on June 6th for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC. There will be a Server Slam from May 12th to 14th, free for all players to try.
