Some of the new features coming to Diablo 4 as part of its next season include the Construct as a new seasonal companion, a new questline revolving around the demon Malphas and rescuing Ayuzhan, new seasonal dungeons and the new boss battle against Malphas.

Season of the Construct will also bring with it the Gauntlet; a new weekly challenge that players can take on. As part of the Gauntlet, players will be able to compete with each other to complete a weekly challenge dungeon and get a spot in the in-game leaderboards. Only a thousand solo players, party players, Normal mode players and Hardcore mode players will be featured on the weekly leaderboards, with the top 10 getting a permeant home in the Hall of the Ancients.

The season will also bring a host of smaller quality of life changes to Diablo 4, including a new Skill Tree Respec mode that allows easier build experimentation, Helltides appearing more often, and updates to endgame boss fights.

As for the seasonal battle pass, there will be a host of new rewards, including new clothing and weapon transmogs, titles, and mounts that can be earned throughout both the free and premium tracks.

Diablo 4: Season of the Construct is slated to kick off on January 23 on all platforms.
