Donkey Kong Country Returns is a sidescrolling platformer developed by Retro Studios and published by Nintendo.
It is the fourth instalment in the Donkey Kong Country series, and the first to not be developed by Rare.
It includes the first three levels from World 1, Jungle, and Modern Mode. However, progress won't transfer to the full game.
If you haven't played Donkey Kong Country Returns before then the HD version comes off as an easy recommendation. If you have, then there are better platformers than this one on the Switch.
