After releasing Don’t Starve for the PlayStation 4 (free for PlayStation Plus subscribers), Klei Entertainment has released a new teaser for upcoming DLC. Titled “Reign of Giants”, the DLC seems to introduce some new gigantic creatures to make survival even more difficult than before. Check out the teaser above.
An Autumn setting can also be observed in the trailer, which could indicate a new season. We’re not sure if it’ll be as horrible as making your way through the stifling cold of the Winter, but you never know.
Don’t Starve focuses on Gentleman Scientist Wilson as he makes his home on an island where everything is trying to kill him. This is made possibly by resource gathering, scrounging for shelter, crafting weapons and items to tackle the beasts around you and gathering food while staving off insanity. Other characters also remain to be unlocked, each with their own abilities. We’ll update you on more details for Reign of Giants as they arrive.
