Vampyr

Dontnod Entertainment may or may not be bringing us another season of Life is Strange this year but it’s certainly hard at work on Vampyr, an Unreal Engine 4-powered RPG which takes place in 20th century Britain. New screenshots have been released to offer an idea as to how dark and dank Britain can really be.

As doctor turned vampire Jonathan Reid, you return from the war to find Britain suffering from the Spanish flu. There’s plenty of violence to go around and since you’re a vampire, that means feeding on just about any character you come across. One needs to be careful though since you need to analyze your relationships with them and ultimately figure out a way to feed. Every person you claim as a victim will have consequences down the line, obviously.

Vampyr is slated to release on Xbox One, PS4 and PC in 2017. Contrary to the norm, this will not be an open world title since the developer believes it can interfere with the story-telling. What are your thoughts on the new screenshots? Let us know in the comments.
