The time has almost come. At the end of this week, we will finally get DOOM Eternal, the sequel to the 2016 reboot of the legendary series. We were supposed to get this one by the end of 2019, but the game suffered a delay. Now, though, you can get this one ready to go for Friday on your PC.

The game is now up and ready for preload on PC via Steam. It’s actually a bit early as preload was supposed to be 48 hours before the game’s launch. It seems the switch got flipped a bit earlier than expected. As of writing this, the preload is not available on consoles, but should be soon, and there is of course no preloading on Stadia since it’s cloud-based.

DOOM Eternal is slated to release on March 20th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Stadia and PC. You can read our review of the demon slaying shooter through here. The game will hopefully be the gateway to more, as the developers have a lot of ideas for the future. But we will have to go through Eternal first.
