Id Software’s DOOM Eternal is out in a matter of weeks and the hype is palpable. As such, a new TV spot has released which offers some quick snippets of the Doom Slayer in action. It might not be the best representation of the game since it lacks (a) Mick Gordon’s amazing industrial metal OST and (b) heaps of blood. Check it out below.

DOOM Eternal sees the Slayer heading to Earth, which is in the grasp of a demonic invasion. He’ll have tons of new tools to accomplish this, from a shoulder attachment that fires ice bombs and flames to new weapons and mods. Each demon has also been retooled to have specific weaknesses and counters, prompting mixing and matching weapons during encounters.

The game is estimated to offer some 22 hours of gameplay but there’s plenty of reason to return with Master Levels. These remixed campaign levels offer new compositions of enemies and can be played at higher difficulties. DOOM Eternal is out on Mach 20th for Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and Google Stadia.
