DOOM

id Software’s DOOM isn’t your typical multiplayer experience. It’s fast, super-violent and has its fair share of awesome modes, as the newest trailer showcases.

Along with the traditional Team Deathmatch and Clan Wars, you also have Freeze Tag – wherein you have to kill the enemy team to “freeze” them and prevent allies from thawing them – and moving King of the Hill – where the cap point is constantly moving and you have to keep pace with it. It’s pretty awesome and honestly looks refreshing if you want a bit more variety in your shooting.

DOOM will have a closed beta for multiplayer from March 31st to April 3rd. The full game is out on May 13th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. The game will come with a single-player campaign along with a community map making tool. What are your thoughts on the multiplayer modes? Let us know in the comments.
