EA and BioWare are finally willing to talk about Dragon Age: The Veilguard, and in the aftermath of its recent announcement and subsequent gameplay deep dive, plenty of additional new details have emerged on the action RPG, thanks in part to previews and impressions published by a number of outlets.

Digital Trends’ preview, for instance, has confirmed that the game will feature a photo mode at launch. Details on what options and features the mode will boast are currently scarce, but this should come as welcome news for fans nonetheless, especially given BioWare’s promise of a much greater variety of environments and biomes to be found throughout the game than in past instalments. Virtual photographers are definitely going to have plenty to do, it seems like.

It’s also been confirmed that Dragon Age: The Veilguard will be a mission-based game, and that it will have both fidelity and performance modes on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard launches this Fall for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
