Dragon Age The Veilguard - Minrathous

If it wasn’t enough that BioWare’s Dragon Age: The Veilguard has a release date and time, the development team has expanded on its previously announced PC specs. Installation still demands 100 GB of free space and a mandatory solid-state drive on Recommended upwards, but what about Ultra settings and ray tracing?

A new blog post revealed that playing at 2160p/60 FPS on Ultra requires an Intel Core i9-12900K or AMD Ryzen 9 7950X, 16 GB of RAM, and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 or AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX with 12 GB VRAM. The same hardware can deliver 2160p gaming with Ultra Ray Tracing enabled at similar quality, though the frame rate drops to 30 FPS.

Regardless, ray tracing on PC requires an RTX 3080 or Radeon RX 6800 XT with 10 GB VRAM at the very minimum. Check out the full requirements below.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard launches on October 31st for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. The PC version supports uncapped framerates, 21:9 Ultrawide displays, and more. Head here for the full breakdown.
