Bandai Namco’s Dragon Ball FighterZ offered a nice surprise yesterday, dropping a new trailer for DLC Fighter Broly (from Dragon Ball Super). However, it also confirmed that Broly was now available. If you have the FighterZ Pass, you can play as him now and wreak havoc on all the weaker Saiyans in the world.
Dragon Ball Super’s Broly is a bit of a story-telling retcon for the infamous Saiyan. Nonetheless, he’s still super-powerful, retaining his berserker fighting style of tossing foes left and right. All the green Ki is also intact especially when he’s firing projectiles and shooting mouth lasers.
With Broly, the second FighterZ Pass is now complete and includes characters like Jiren, Videl, Goku from Dragon Ball GT, Gogeta (Super Saiyan Blue), and Janemba. Will there be another Season Pass in the coming months? We’ll have to wait and see, but in the meantime, check out our review for the base game here.
