Dragon Ball FighterZ Videl

Bandai Namco Entertainment has released a new gameplay video for Dragon Ball FighterZ, hyping up the first two fighters in the FighterZ Pass 2. Yes, Jiren and Videl do battle (with some other characters thrown in this 3v3 tag match). No, it’s not an even match-up that’s realistic even in the actual canon. Regardless, it makes for fun watching.

Jiren’s attacks are fairly explosive, and there’s even a nice reversal move that can turn the tables with the right timing. Videl has some cool combos, though the real highlight is being able to summon the Great Saiyaman (a.k.a. Gohan) in combat. This makes for some decent set-ups and team-up attacks in the right situations.

The FighterZ Pass 2 is available today for Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PC players of the game. Jiren and Videl will also be available today. Future fighters include the likes of Broly and Super Saiyan Blue Gogeta from Dragon Ball Super.

Bandai Namco also recently announced an upcoming action RPG in the series, currently only called Dragon Ball – Project Z, that’s being developed by CyberConnect2, which is out this year for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
