Bandai Namco’s Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is out on PS4, Xbox One and PS4 worldwide. CyberConnect2’s day one update is also available to download and it’s highly recommended since it improves the game’s technical performance. Plus it adds more content. Who doesn’t love more content?

The latest patch brings the game to version 1.02 (version 1.01 consisted of day one bonus content). Along with improving loading times, it also allows for directly traveling to Korin Tower Summit and Capsule Corp from the world map. There are 11 total sub quests that have been added, which should help add to the estimated 35 to 40 hours of playtime required to clear the whole game.

The entry fee required for Time Attacks (advanced) has been reduced to 1500 Zeni from 3000 Zeni and other “miscellaneous adjustments” have been made. Check out the full patch notes below for more details. In the meantime, you can watch the first 17 minutes of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot here to see how it plays.

Update Patch 1.02

  • Improved Loading Times
  • Enabled direct travel to Korin Tower Summit and Capsule Corporation from the World Map
  • Added 11 sub quests: Crane School Scouting, Time for a Tournament!, The Sins of the Father, and more!
  • Adjusted the entry fee of the Time Attacks (advanced) from 3,000 Zeni to 1,500 Zeni
  • Other miscellaneous adjustments
