Bandai Namco’s Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will be receiving some paid DLC this Spring according to the latest Weekly Famitsu. Part of the Season Pass, it will add playable versions of Super Saiyan God Goku and Super Saiyan God Vegeta. A new story episode called “A New Awakening (Part One): Whis’ Training” is also coming which offers new training challenges against Whis.

After earning enough experience points, it’s possible for Goku to attain Super Saiyan God form. The form adds new moves, boosts stats and further iterates on finishers. Once the training is complete, Super Saiyan God Goku can take on Beerus, reenacting their epic conflict from Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is currently out on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. It’s sold over two million units worldwide since launching in January and has seen a number of updates. The next update, “The Time Machine”, is out this month though no details have been provided on what it offers. Stay tuned in the meantime for more updates.
