Bandai Namco will be starting off next year on a high note with Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, an action RPG developed by CyberConnect 2. In a new introduction trailer, the premise and core gameplay elements like combat, exploration and so on are neatly outlined. Check it out below.

For Dragon Ball Z fans, this will be familiar territory as the story starts from the Raditz Saga, traverses the Saiyan, Namek and Frieza Sagas, while ultimately culminating in the Buu Saga. There is some new content though, like former Ginyu Force member Bonyu. You can also expect some backstories that haven’t been told in the original manga.

Otherwise, if you’ve been aching to fight as Adult Gohan or as Vegito, then this will be the game for you. Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot releases on January 17th 2020 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Stay tuned for more details and gameplay in the coming months.
