Dragon’s Crown Slaying its Way to PS3 and PS Vita This Summer

Get ready to smash, stomp and slash (again).

Posted By | On 25th, Mar. 2013

Dragon’s Crown, a 2D hack and slash, beat ’em style game much in the vein of Odin’s Sphere and Muramasa: The Demon Blade, will be releasing this Summer for PS3 and PlayStation Vita. Vanillaware – which in fact developed the above two titles – and Atlus have announced that the game will be available at major retailers and also on PlayStation Network for download.

They’ve even released a few sumptuous screenshots for our viewing pleasure. Tut, tut, indeed.

The game will support four player co-op play as players take up different classes to combat different monsters such as titans, dragons and more in their quest for treasure.

You can choose one of six classes, which include the quick hitting Fighter, the close-quarters Dwarf, the lithe yet deadly Amazon, the spell-casting Wizard, the agile and long-range shooting Elf and the magical summoning Sorceress.

Sadly, for a PS3/PS Vita game, cross platform play is not supported.
