Capcom’s Dragon’s Dogma 2 has emerged as the top-selling premium game in the United States for March 2024, per Circana analyst and executive director Matt Piscatella. It’s the third best-selling game of the year to date, with dollar sales surpassing the combined lifetime figures for Dragon’s Dogma and its expansion, Dark Arisen.
While it was the sixth most-played title on Steam last month in the US, it ranked first in dollar sales for Xbox platforms (followed by Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 in second) and third for PlayStation platforms (with Rise of the Ronin coming in fourth). In terms of sales figures, Capcom announced it had sold over 2.5 million units within the first 12 days.
Stay tuned for updated sales numbers in the coming months. Dragon’s Dogma 2 is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. Check out our review – we awarded it a 10 out of 10 due to its standout combat, immersive sandbox and world design.
