Dreams Receives Over 40 New Sculptures in Welcome Garden Art Pack

Indicators for creators being online, a notification feed fix, and more also included in new update.

The latest update for Media Molecule’s Dreams is now available, adding several quality of life features and the first art park. Dubbed the Welcome Garden Art Pack contains over 40 sculptures which can be used for a variety of purposes, including one’s own creations. Check out the new content in the tweet below.

Other new features include the ability to specify a collection for a Community Jam and an green indicator for a content creator’s name to show they’re online. The Community Jam UI has also seen different improvements and tweaks. An issue which saw the notifications feed going back to the beginning after viewing a single notification has also been fixed.

Despite being in development for a long time, Dreams has had a very positive reception. What’s new?

  • Our first new art pack! – The Welcome Garden Art Pack contains more than 40 sculptures which will sit nicely alongside any content from the Welcome Home theme. Use them to spruce up your homespace, stamp into your own creations, or remix into something completely new.
  • Community Jam Collections – We’ve added support for specifying a collection to use with a Community Jam. This means a better starting point for folks who want to enter but don’t quite know where to begin.
  • Online Indicator – A green dot next to a dreamer’s name indicates they are online.

Other improvements

  • New: Most Used Creation now in the Impy Awards playlists.
  • Updated: Various tweaks and improvements to the Community Jam UI.
  • Fixed: Issue where the notifications feed would return to the start of the list after viewing one.
  • Other minor tweaks and improvements.
