When Bully was first banned in Brazil’s Rio Grande do Sul, it was due to the game being psychologically harmful for kids and adults. The fact that it took place in a school was also deemed “not acceptable.” That’s not including all the controversy it drummed up like glorifying bullying and whatnot. It probably wouldn’t have been as controversial if GTA developer Rockstar Games wasn’t attached to it nor would it have prompted Jack Thompson to call it “school genocide”.
