Bulletstorm and Fox News
Bulletstorm, the crazy first person shooter from People Can Fly, became the target of FOX News blogger John Brandon who believed it to be the “worst game in the world” due to its violence. Given how FOX News usually reacts to anything, it wasn’t all that strange to see Brandon choosing Bulletstorm as a target. The funny thing is that Brandon not only misrepresented a psychiatrist’s statement about the game causing a surge in crimes but also claimed that the majority of kids could easily obtain M-rated games…which a study by the Parents Television Council later rebuked.
