If last month’s PlayStation Plus Essential offerings left you questioning, especially after Sony announced the end of physical discs for new games from January 2028, take heart. The latest titles, available from August 4th, have been revealed, and they’re definitely better, starting with Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition.
It’s coming to PS4 and PS5 players and includes the first DLC, Bloody Ties, along with all updates thus far. The most significant addition is firearms, though visual fidelity has also seen major improvements. While not quite matching up to Dying Light: The Beast, especially after the Restored Land update, it still offers a fun experience.
If co-op is more important, then feast your eyes on Untitled Goose Game developer House House’s next title, Big Walk. You’ll explore a strange world with friends, utilizing different ways to solve puzzles and even communicate. And as with its breakout hit, there are plenty of ways to mess with other players.
Finally, there’s Signalis, an overhead sci-fi survival horror that mixes old-school mechanics with surreal environments and storytelling. And if you’re looking to pick up Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls when it launches on August 6th, a free pack will be provided that includes five Avatars based on in-game characters and 20 Result Screen Character Poses.
