Dying Light 2 Stay Human has had a rocky development that’s seen everything from delays to crunch to plenty else, but Techland finally seems to be ramping up to the game’s eventual launch. Recently re-revealed (this time with a subtitle), Dying Light 2 is a few months away, and as promised, at this year’s PC Gaming Show E3 2021, we got another look at the game.

It’s really more of a developer diary than anything else, but it has some interesting details. The game’s narrative director talks about The City, where the game is set, and provides some brief details on its backstory, and how it’s faring these days (spoilers: it’s not faring well). Meanwhile, new details on protagonist Aiden Caldwell and his mysterious protagonist are also shared, though of course, the developers stop short of revealing too much. Some brief snippets of gameplay are also shown off. Check it out below.

Dying Light 2 Stay Human is out on December 7 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
