Dying Light 2

As one of the major big releases coming early next year, Dying Light 2 Stay Human has more than its share of expectations. Nevertheless, Techland promised that there would be zero chance of another delay and it’s stuck to it. The official Twitter account has confirmed that the game has gone gold.

Though it’s currently being sent for disc manufacturing and digital certification, Techland is still working on polishing the experience. “It wouldn’t be possible without your support over all these years – we will spend an additional time making sure that we’ll deliver the best possible experience for you.” So despite the download size on PS5 being a little over 21 GB, a day one patch is pretty much certain. It’s still a ways until release so expect more gameplay footage and details in the coming months.

Dying Light 2 Stay Human releases on February 4th, 2022 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch. For the latest gameplay, which showcases the combat, parkour and paragliding, head here. You can also learn more about The City and its various factions here.
