Dying Light 2_10

Before Dead Island or Dying Light, Techland worked on the Call of Juarez series. A new event, Undead or Alive, is now available in Dying Light 2 Stay Human and celebrates the 10th anniversary of Techland’s Wild West first-person shooter series. The event will be playable until June 7th.

As for the gameplay loop, it’s simple – look for Mean-Ass Guns that channel the Wild West, shoot enemies in the head and use dynamite to send them sky high. Rewards include a Ray McCall Weapon Charm, a Bowie Knife (with its blueprint), 25 Pilgrim Tokens and 15 pieces of dynamite.

It’s not a lot but fits the spirit of Call of Juarez in so far as shooting undead fools and lighting them up with dynamite goes. Following the Gut Feeling update, Dying Light 2 Stay Human’s next update promises to make the game “even scarier.” A paid expansion is coming later this year, so stay tuned for updates.
