Dying Light

Techland is teasing a new project for Dying Light, it’s open world zombie survival horror title that saw massive success and tons of updates since its launch earlier this year. A new video was released that detailed the various updates and content drops that Dying Light has seen so far this year, but what’s more interesting is the new “major project”.

Producer Tymon Smektala stated that, “We’re really excited to finally be able to show this major project we’ve been secretly working on since the release of the game. This is Dying Light from totally new angle, but with everything fans love about the original still at the core.

Expect a reveal of the content – which looks to be a major expansion – at Gamescom 2015. It will be showcased to the world shortly thereafter.

Dying Light released to above average reviews earlier this year but was a strong financial success for developer Techland with millions of players at launch. We’ll see how the new content fits into the base game in the coming weeks.
