Dying Light: The Beast

Techland has revealed the global release times for Dying Light: The Beast and confirmed that the survival horror/parkour title will launch one day earlier, i.e. on September 18th, 9 AM PDT. It also announced over one million pre-orders.

In a recent press release, franchise director Tymon Smektala said, “Seeing the excitement from our community for the return of Kyle Crane in Dying Light: The Beast, and knowing the game is ready, we wanted to do something special for our players. We pushed ourselves to make the impossible possible, and that’s why we’re releasing the game a little earlier. I can’t wait to see players’ reactions when they finally step into the world of The Beast.”

Dying Light: The Beast will be available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC at launch for $59.99 (with Xbox One and PS4 versions due later this year). Those who own Dying Light 2 Stay Human’s Ultimate Edition can receive it at no additional cost.

Taking place years after Dying Light 1 and The Following, it sees Crane escaping from the clutches of the mysterious Baron, who has experimented on him all this time. He embarks on a campaign of revenge, going up against the Baron’s private army while still dealing with the infected. That includes the Volatiles, who are deadlier than ever.
