Dying Light The Beast

Dying Light: The Beast is roughly a month away, and Techland is slowly ramping up the marketing. After showcasing extensive gameplay, the latest trailer offers a darker spin on the setting, Castor Woods. A mascot, Bober the Beaver, highlights the scenic beauty of the location, but things quickly take a turn.

While past glimpses of the tourist spot looked peaceful, it has since devolved into a zombie-filled paradise. Aside from lakes and hiking trails, there are also tightly packed town streets and picnic spots to explore. Be sure to find shelter by night, especially when the Volatiles come out to play.

It also seems that Bober himself unwillingly joins the undead craze. Whether he’s encountered in-game, has an associated side quest, or you can equip his mascot outfit, I absolutely need to know his fate.

Dying Light: The Beast launches on August 22nd for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. The PS4 and Xbox One versions will release later this year.
