E3 2013: Forza Motorsport 5 Gameplay Trailer is Shiny and Slow

Is this actual gameplay footage? And can it get more slow-moey?

Turn 10 Studios have finally revealed a new gameplay trailer for Forza Motorsport 5 and we are assured – if the teaser that followed was any indication – that this is in-game footage.

It showcases cars racing around a track, slowing down at opportune moments to show off the exquisite chrome on the vehicles, the screeching of tires on the tarmac, the sense of speed, the cockpit and of course, the detail on the gloves of your driver.

Because it’s the gloves that make the game. Or something like.

Forza Motorsport 5 – we imagine – makes a return to the more official, sportsman-like racing of the series rather than going in Forza Horizon’s open world direction. Debuting at the Xbox Reveal event, Forza Motorsport 5 will be launching with the Xbox One title at the end of 2013 and probably holds the honour of the one exclusive that Microsoft actually bothered to showcase at the Reveal.

Stay tuned for more details as E3 2013 shifts into high gear.
