Employees from EA’s San Franciso offices recently took part in the recent 2013 AIDS Walk last month. A total of 89 employees $18,085 of the $25,000 goal, with executive assistant Wendy Rossie contributing the remaining $7,100.

EA stated for the same that, “Donations are still coming in. Thank you to all who gave their time to raise awareness for this amazing foundation.”

The money raised from the AIDS walk will be donated to 50 AIDS charities, and will help in reducing the rate of new HIV infections in San Francisco by 50 percent. It will also help organizations like San Francisco AIDS Foundation to spread awareness about the same, and help residents keep aware of their HIV status as well as caring for their neighbours.

Say what you will about the big giant evil corporation that EA can be, but no one can deny that they know how to give back to society when it really counts.
