FromSoftware’s success with Elden Ring Nightreign continues with over five million units shipped worldwide thus far. The co-op Souls-like action RPG released on May 30th, and crossed 3.5 million shipments and digital downloads in less than a week.
Available for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, and PC, Nightreign is a spin-off of 2022’s massively successful Elden Ring. As a member of the Nightfarers, players drop into Limveld to battle against the Nightlords and repel the encroaching darkness. There are eight Nightfarers to choose from, each with unique abilities and roles, though all weapons and magic are available, restricted only by level.
Since launch, FromSoftware has added new features to Elden Ring Nightreign, including the Everdark Sovereigns, enhanced versions of the Nightlords. Four more will debut on July 31st, and Duos mode is also in the works. Stay tuned for more details and check out our review of the base game.
