Rockfish Games’ Everspace 2 has made significant progress since launching in Steam Early Access this year but there’s even more to come. In a new roadmap for 2022, the developer outlined all of the new content coming next year along confirming V1.0 for launch in early 2023. First up is Rogue’s Debut which launches in Spring 2022 and introduces the Light Fighter Rogue as a new subclass.

New main and side missions with voice acting, new equipment, improved crafting and resource gathering, and an increased player cap are also coming. There will also be UI and text language support for Italian, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese and much more. In Summer 2022, Drake: Gang Wars arrives, bringing the new Drake system with three factions at war, new activities, a new companion and even more side missions with voice acting.

Autumn 2022 sees the release of Ancient Rifts which adds a new end-game challenge that sees players venturing into rifts for Legendary equipment rewards. More new activities and mini-missions along with an increased player level cap can also be expected. As for the V1.0 release, it will feature the “most personal boss you can imagine” along with new secrets and endgame content.

This final release will also coincide with the game’s release on PlayStation and Xbox consoles. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
