Game Overview:
Everspace 2 is a fast-paced space shooter developed and published by Rockfish Games.
It is set in a handcrafted open world space setting.
Ancient Rifts, the final early access update, is now available, adding new challenges, jobs, side missions, and much more.
The latest free update brings gang wars to Everspace 2, along with a new star system, new factions, and a whole new side-quest to introduce all these things.
The space combat title will finally launch out of early access in early 2023, which coincides with the release of its console versions.
Everspace 2 will be available on Xbox Game Pass via its preview initiative, and developer Rockfish Games has showered praise for Microsoft's subscription service.
Also includes new main and side missions an an increased level cap.
New ship sub-classes, side-missions, and activities planned.
The developer will share its first roadmap soon.
The first 12 hours of the campaign will be included in the initial launch.
A new teaser trailer is also available for the space shooter.
Both areas will be ready for the early access launch in January 2021.
Rockfish Games is once again looking to avoid competition with Cyberpunk 2077.
Early access players will get to explore Union and the Okkar are making a comeback.
Closed alpha on Steam kicks off June 15th.
Closed alpha access is currently rolling out for backers.
"It wouldn't be wise to directly compete against two sci-fi shooter RPG juggernauts," says the developer.
