After numerous delays, Rockfish Games’ Everspace 2 is finally ready to launch in early access. It will be available for Steam Early Access and GOG Games in Development on January 18th. To provide a look at some of the action that fans can expect, a new teaser has been released. Check it out below.

Instead of a rogue-lite, Everspace 2 focuses more on action RPG elements, loot and exploration in a large handcrafted open world. Players take control of a former clone pilot who’s on a mission to become human. Along with exploring Union, a space-trading hub, players will also visit the Ruins of the Ancients (though the race won’t necessarily appear) among other locations.

After a decent stint in early access, Everspace 2 will launch for PC first. It will release for Xbox One and PS4 afterwards, though expect previous release windows to be pushed forward due to the delays. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks when early access goes live.
