Evolve’s Third Monster Revealed: Meet the Wraith

Catch it if you can.

Posted By | On 18th, Dec. 2014

Turtle Rock Studios has finally unveiled the third monster for its 4 vs. 1 cooperative shooter Evolve. We’ve known about the Goliath and the Kraken but the Wraith is an entirely different beast. Check out the trailer above to see what we mean.

The Wraith moves blindingly fast, lifting away Hunters with ease, and can seemingly demolecularize itself. It’s also capable of splitting off into another halve, making for a difficult fight for the Hunters as they struggle to take down both Wraiths. The Wraith seems to emphasis quick, piercing strikes versus the Goliath’s heavy handed attacks and the Kraken’s lightning-based projectiles. One thing is for sure though – it looks scary as hell.

Evolve will be out this February 2015 on Xbox One, PS4 and PC after a delay from its original October 2014 release date. What are your thoughts on the Wraith? Let us know your thoughts in the comments and stay tuned for more information on Evolve.
