Fallout 4 has been criticized for reasons both good and bad but one bizarre on-going tale is of the game’s mods program on PS4. Or the lack of it. Originally set to launch in June after Xbox One, the mods program was delayed with Bethesda pointing to a few technical issues while evaluation occurs.
Bethesda VP of marketing and PR Pete Hines was asked to elaborate on the delay in an interview with Metro. “All I can say is that [the Fallout 4 PS4 mod program is] undergoing an evaluation process and as soon as it’s done, and we have more info, we’re gonna let everyone know.”
When questioned as to whether it was an issue with Sony, Hines instead said, “It’s definitely not that we’ve decided not to do it, we absolutely, positively want to get PS4 mods out as fast as humanly possible.”
Make of that what you will but Bethesda is still committed to mods on PS4. It’s just going to take some more time. What are your thoughts on the delays? Let us know in the comments below.
