Fallout 4

The wait for Fallout 4’s next-gen update has been longer than expected, but Bethesda has announced that the game will finally be getting its native PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions later this month, on April 25. That, it turns out, will also be accompanied by some notable movement for the game in the PC space.

For starters, the game will also receive a free update on PC that will add support for widescreen and ultra widescreen resolutions, in addition to “a variety” of quest updates and fixes related to the Creation Club. Meanwhile, players on Steam, Microsoft Store, and GOG can also expect fixes for bugs, mods, and stability, while Bethesda.net login issues preventing Japanese and Chinese language players on PC from accessing mods will also be fixed.

Additionally, Fallout 4 will also officially become a Steam Deck Verified title, which means it will be fully optimized and perfectly playable on Valve’s handheld device. April 25 will also see the post-apocalyptic RPG’s PC version becoming available to purchase via the Epic Games Store.

Fallout 4 is currently available on Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Amazon Prime’s Fallout series also recently premiered its first full season, and has been met with widespread critical acclaim.
