Something else that Fallout games – or for that matter, all Bethesda Game Studios games – have become synonymous with over the years is mods. The modding community of these games has added immense life and and longevity to the experiences, not to mention healthy and surprising doses of creativity and bizarreness. Sadly, Fallout 76 going down the online road has resulted in the loss of this aspect of the experience as well. The game won’t feature mod support, and though being an online focused experience it can be injected with longevity in entirely different ways, the loss of modding support is something that will be felt heavily.
